Week 3: 10 out of 10!!!

Congratulations to all our leadership book presenters on Thursday!  Ethan Day gave them all 10s!
They certainly did a great job.  Ethan Hellyer read a book that left us all a little boggled!  Thank you for sorting it out for us, Ethan.  I'm putting that book on my future read list.
Benjamin taught us about Lincoln's style of leadership which consisted of walking around!  Leadership is simply walking around, talking with people, gathering information!  Lincoln made it look so simple.
And Noah challenged us to do something hard!  I love that he enjoyed the book, Do Hard Things, so much, that he read the sequel.  I hope you have all been inspired by the books you read and the books others read!!  If you read one of the books that was recommended I will present you with a cool $5 bill of class cash.

We accomplished so much on Thursday.  Hannah did a great job wielding the gavel.
We discussed the levels of leadership.  Our class is definitely moving around from level 2-3.  Can we go higher?  YES WE CAN!

Week 1: Love is in the air

What a great welcome back to FILA's second semester!!!
We've got a new room and a new classmate!  HUGE SCORE!

We started the semester with book presentations from Ethan Riggle and Taylor.  Ethan challenged us to put first things first and even drew a quadrant to help us figure out what is most important.
Taylor encouraged us to do hard things that people don't expect from us.

During our next class, we will hear book presentations from Tillie Blanchard and Paige Preece.

THIS WEEK IS A BIG WEEK FOR US!!  BE PREPARED!

1) Be at FILA at 9 a.m. to set-up for the Valentine Card Exchange
    -We need all hands!!
-Complete all assignments Tillie has given you!

2) Be ready to deliver your candy grams!  You can deliver them during the last 10 minutes of 2nd hour, 3rd hour and 4th hour.  Also, deliver them during LUNCH!!  GET THEM DELIVERED!  Some of you have quite a few.
-I will give you your bag of candy grams when you arrive at FILA.
-Deliver them in a fun way!!  DO NOT JUST HAND THEM TO THE RECEIVER!!!  You better have a fun dance, poem, song, etc to accompany your delivery!

3) Complete your love languages homework!  If you have questions feel free to ask.  I want to hear what you did on Thursday!  THIS IS A HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT!  IF YOU DON'T DO IT, YOU DON'T GET  YOUR GOLDEN TICKET! Remember showing appreciation and love to people can work miracles!!!

4) Come to FILA WITH a Valentine Box!!!  If you don't decorate one, why should anyone else? : )

Hannah, YOU have our Leadership Quick Quote!
